The area is serviced by two major airports, Alicante and Valencia.

Shuttle services are available from Alicante airport to Calpe. Pick up from Casa La Paz to airport and visa versa.
Car Hire is also available at both Airports.


The City of Calpe

Calpe sits at the heart of the Costa Blanca and is approximately 1 hours drive from Alicante airport. This historic town was initially settled by Iberian tribes and later the Romans due to its strategic position on the coast.

The Rock of Ifach

The Rock of Ifach is Calpe’s most iconic landmark. From sea level, it rises almost vertically to 332m and forms a protected nature reserve. For the active and fit, the summit offers panoramic vistas of the coastline and can be accessed by a hike up a footpath. In perfect conditions, the island of Ibiza is visible from the vantage-point.

The town has transformed itself from an ancient fishing village to a tourist hub. Visitors can explore the ancient town centre and visit the Iglesia Vieja, which is the only remaining example of Mudejar-Gothic architecture within the Province of Valencia. The town centre also hosts the Museum of Archeology and the Fiestas Museum.

Visitors can enjoy walks along the Calpe bay and pop in at an array of restaurants and bars which offer both traditional and international cuisine. Those interested in seeing more of the coastline can take the narrow-gauge railway that runs from Alicante to Denia, stopping in Calpe.

For the sporty, the town offers various watersports as well as golf and tennis facilities. The surrounding area makes for beautiful cycling and hiking. For those looking to relax, the white beaches and pleasant sea temperature offer the perfect conditions to unwind.
